Contracts

Here is a copy of our contract for you to view prior to filling out the form below!

  • Once this contract is completed and received a temporary hold will be put on your reserved vehicle(s). 3 attempts will be made to contact booking party for deposit information. If we are unable to reach the booking party for deposit information the vehicle(s) will no longer be held and it will be offered to other interested parties
  • The driver has the right to remove any unruly passengers
  • We do not allow Jell-O or pudding of any kind. It damages our interior and creates a huge mess. If brought on board an automatic $200 charge will be required to continue your trip and it will need removed from the vehicle. If our policy is ignored for a 2nd time your trip may be terminated.
  • Food- there will be an automatic $25 charge if food is chosen to be on board. This payment must be made prior to bringing food on board. All food must be disposed of properly in the trash receptacles provided. If trash receptacles are not properly used an additional $125 excessive cleaning fee will apply.
  • Bookings made 6 months or more in advance are subject to advanced booking fees
  • Renter must be 18 years of age or older
  • No Fighting- anyone fighting on or off the bus will immediately be removed from remaining trip
  • No glass allowed- please have all beverages in cans or plastic containers
  • No open beverages can leave or enter the bus (beverages on the bus are allowed)
  • No weapons- knives, guns, etc.
  • 21 and over- if there is to be any alcohol on the bus all passengers must be 21 or older
  • Nothing out the windows- including any part of the body, objects, and fluids
  • Emergency exits are to remain closed at all times (only to be used during emergencies). Any use outside of any emergency situation will be grounds to terminate the trip.
  • Roof hatches- the roof hatches may only be adjusted by the driver due to the risk of damage.
  • No smoking (State Law)- failure will result in a $100 fee for 1st occurrence, 2nd occurrence will result in termination of trip
  • No illegal drugs- failure will result in immediate termination of booking without any refund
  • Booking Party must provide their own music. All stereos systems are equipped with Bluetooth.
  • Use trash receptacles provided for all trash (failure to do so may result in $125 cleaning fee which will be taken from credit card provided when booking event).
  • Any bodily fluids (urine, vomit, blood, etc.) on bus will result in an immediate $125 cleaning fee per occurrence
  • If any property of NTPB is damaged or stolen by the contract holder or contract holders guests, the contract holder will be held liable for replacement costs, collection fees, attorney fees, court costs, etc.
  • No trip can begin until driver has been paid for remaining booking charge, has a credit card on file, and a completed signed contract
  • No passengers can pass lines on floor of bus while in transit (front next to driver and next to rear exit)
  • NTPB is not responsible for any possessions left behind
  • A minimum $200 non-refundable deposit must be made to hold all bookings
  • Cancellations must be made in writing a minimum of 21 days before scheduled booking for a full refund minus the deposit paid to hold the booking. Any time after the 21 days the responsible party will be charged full booking price (responsible party is whomever’s credit card is on file)
  • Any request for extra time must be cleared a minimum of 30 minutes before bookings end
  • No Styrofoam coolers allowed
  • All coolers must be water tight
  • No adjusting of stereo equalizer due to risk of damaging stereo
  • The customer understands that Acts of God, Unforeseen traffic, and severe weather conditions may delay travel. There may be unexpected vehicle breakdowns and other unforeseen events beyond control of NTPB for which all efforts will be made to supply a replacement vehicle. If a replacement vehicle is sent, and customer rejects the replacement vehicle, no refund is due. If no replacement vehicle is available, the refund will be limited to the amount paid by the customer. In case of an emergency, NTPB may subcontract this rental to another company. NTPB is not responsible to fulfill itineraries developed by the customer, which indicate a time the customer expects to arrive at a certain location after the initial pickup time
  • If NTPB is not on time to the initial destination for pickup of the customers, NTPB will provide the missed time at the end of the night, no refunds will be given
  • Customer agrees that a replacement bus may be substituted in the event of any major mechanical issues, bus involved in accident, etc.
  • Cooler provided by request only
  • A minimum of $40 charge will occur per 15 minutes for any booking that runs beyond its scheduled time
  • Any missing equipment (cooler, trash cans, etc.) will result in the replacement cost being charged to credit card provided
  • Trips may require a mileage charge (please discuss route at time of booking). Additional mileage is $1.75 per mile and subject to change depending on fuel rates.
  • All trips are allotted 20 miles per hour booked with mileage beginning and ending at 2825 Newport Rd NE Iowa City IA 52240 (3 hours gives you 60 miles. All trips that go over the miles allowed are subject to a $1.75 per mile charge)
  • Additional Fuel surcharges may apply and will be discussed at time of booking
  • All reservations must have route established a minimum of 1 week in advance of reservation date or a $100 fee will be charged to card on file prior to departure
  • Acceptable forms of payment are credit card or cash (NO CHECKS ACCEPTED)
  • Pictures/videos may be taken by NTPB. By signing this agreement, you agree to allow NTPB to use these items for any and all promotional purposes including but not limited to print, fliers, or internet/magazine ads etc.
  • As a condition of being permitted on the bus and the use of this charter, the agreement holder and its entire party, agrees to hold harmless, release indemnify, and promise not to bring a claim against or sue NTPB, or its employees, agents, officers, or affiliates from any and all liabilities.
  • No standing, dancing, or feet on vehicle seats due to damage that may result. Failure will result in a $75 fee per occurrence due immediately in addition to the cost of repair if damaged.
  • Severe Weather Policy- if safety becomes a concern we may need to cancel, delay, or modify reservation route. If canceled all payments minus deposit paid are transferable to another date or refundable. Decision made within 2 hrs of scheduled trip and cannot be decided by booking party
  • We take direct routes to all stop locations and do not allow aimless cruising, however we do offer up to 30 minutes of cruising within your reservation time frame for an additional fee
  • Your driver will begin reaching out the Monday of the week of your trip. If you do not hear from your driver by Wednesday please reach out and we will make sure you get connected with them. They will confirm all trip details and introduce themselves. If your driver misses you they will leave a voicemail or text. We do require you to respond to your driver. If no response is given we will not show up to your reservation.
  • We arrive at all final drop locations 10 minutes prior to the scheduled end time to allow you time to pick up trash, collect personal items/coolers, and safely unload the bus.
  • The maximum capacity stated for your vehicle reserved cannot be exceeded. Going above the stated capacity causes additional wear and tear and can lead to severe damage to the vehicle. It also puts the safety of all passengers at risk. Additional passengers above the stated capacity will be turned away. Please let us know if an additional vehicle is needed for your event.
